Relaxing nice resort with everything you need.

We were first given a room from the southern side building of the sea side buildings (there are three big buildings on the sea side, one just with few rooms on the northern edge and then two long buildings from north to south). It turned out the rooms on the southern part are the old ones, not renovated. So we asked and were kindly given a room form the northern side and it turned out beautiful and nicely renovated (although no wooden floor anymore ;) ). Breakfast was plentiful and nice. The food in the hotel restaurant was really good (I normally don't wanna eat at resort restaurants because usually they're not so good but very expensive). There was a functioning pool bar which was super fun, you could even order food there.

To get a free seat by the pool on the sea side was really hard especially on the holiday season. People book their seat with a towel and sometimes go away even for 3 hours and expect the seat to be theirs when they come back. Pretty annoying...

A wonderful 2 week stay.

We had a great time in Kacha. Loved pretty much everything. Beautiful common areas - the seaside pool, the restaurant, air conditioned coworking space (very few of those on the island). Buffet breakfast was awesome - varied, with lots of delicious Thai and Western options. Exceptionally friendly staff. Thorough daily cleaning in the rooms. Nice bathroom (a bathtub!) and good water pressure. We stayed in the block across the road, and our north-facing room (overlooking not the pool but the other side) didn’t get very hot, which allowed to avoid using AC all the time. Great location in a lively (yet not crowded) area, everything reacheable on foot - restaurants, shops, ATMs, laundry etc. Overall - very nice feel from this hotel, would stay here again happily!

Certain room facilities are getting dated (the ceiling fan remote was playing up, the safe didn’t work…) but these were really minor issues which didn’t affect our stay at all.

Except the annoyance with the sunbeds, it was a wonderful stay.

Location is great, rooms are nice and well equipped.

It’s nearly too big and one issue is that sun beds at the beach front always seems to get reserved by selfish guests already at 6am, even this is against the hotel policy…

I love the villa 1405 on the pool side! It was great! Super calm and still so central! I loved the closeness to the beach and the pool and the breakfast area! I also loved the plants around the condo!!

Nice resort for a relaxing holiday

Nice resort with friendly staff, located at the beach. Nice pool, lot of green areas around.

The beach directly to the hotel is very small, but that’s in general not a problem. Air conditioning strength in the room could not be adjusted.

Very nice room and friendly staff. Overall a good hotel for the price. Excellent location.

We upgraded to a Beach Front Villa that was very nice. The staff were very firendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool area is very good. Beach (at the restaurant end) is excellent. Beach side bar was good with friendly staff. The hotel had organised a band and buffet on the Friday (and Saturday) night that was very good (even better considering COVID and the relatively small number of guests).

Breakfast was OK (but not great) - selection was limited and if you went to breakfast later (after 9am) the food was often cold. Gym is poor - small and limited equipment. (Probably the only real let down in the whole property)

Very Good

Very comfortable bed, nice room in general. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On the beach - just sadly because of rainy season - the rain stopped us from being able to use it much and the sea was at high tide from around 3pm - so you need to search for somewhere else! But the beach is lovely when it is sunny good location near lots of restaurants- very affordable.

There is a dehumidifier in the room which you have to have on so the room doesn’t get damp - very unusual for a hotel and the dehumidifier fills up daily! So has to be emptied frequently. Never experience this in a hotel before. Breakfast could have been better with more choices, when things ran out they weren’t replaced. I guess this is due to covid right now as the hotel was much quieter than usual.

Fairly average hotel for one of the more expensive in that area

The breakfast was fine but nothing special. It is just a fair hotel

The beach directly outside the hotel (in front of the pool) is very unattractive. All stones. The beach is adequate but you have to go a few hundred metres to the right so any more decent area. This is meant to be the best beach on Koh Chang but it is pretty average. Dont expect your normal white sandy beach
